Yahoo provides many kinds of services, one of which is chat. There are countless chat rooms for one to join. We frequented only a few. Since we live in Florida, we used to visit category 'romance' - 'by location' - Florida, and in there are generally 10 to 14 rooms. fl:5 and fl:10 were the old hangouts.
After this, we went to category Science and a room called 'Beyond Planet Earth'. An interesting place, to be sure.

One word of advice: whenever you enter a new room, read for a while, to understand the 'culture' of a particular room, as each one has its regulars and quirks.
